INITIATION
For millennia, study of the spirit has only been accessible to a select few students. The various lodges and mystery schools have always gradually initiated the student via a system of grades into this secret knowledge, according to the maturity of the student. Their knowledge matures, step by step. Without preconceptions, which light the darkness but do not illuminate the goal, the next step isn’t possible. Even if these preconceptions are discarded later, they act as steps along the path. Religion, just like atheism, is one of these steps, and even that which is promised by esotericism is a step, not the goal.
The Books MAGIC & MYTICISM IN THE 3rd MILLENNIUM follow this tradition, and were originally reserved for a small circle of readers. They are published under the titles: “The Book of the Masters” (7 volumes), “The Master’s Letters” (4 volumes), and “The Book of Guardian Angels”. Emil Stejnar provided this instruction and these texts to selected readers. Excerpts from “Spiritual Exercises for Freemasons” were compiled in 1978 for use internally by the lodge in Vienna, appearing in the “Blaue Blätter”, the lodge’s own newspaper – and published in 1984 by Bauhütten Verlag, a Munich based publisher. But the time of the secret society has passed. Alongside stolen texts from lodge archives, which caused more confusion than illumination in the unprepared, bookshops and the Internet have been flooded with ever more senseless esotericism, which dulls the mind of those seeking knowledge. |
To counter this trend, in 2007 Emil Stejnar decided to make a selection of his works available to the public, in the form of the 10 books of MAGIC & MYSTICISM IN THE 3rd MILLENNIUM. The books have been published by STEJNAR VERLAG since 2018. These ten books have been expanded by the addition of three previously unpublished titles, so that now the entire thirteen volumes of Stejnar’s work is available via bookshops and online.
The spirit can only develop according to the laws of evolution, in other words step by step. With this stricture in mind, Emil Stejnar takes his readers step by step on the journey: the two books, Andy Mo, and The Book of the Masters and Their Heirs lead to the world of the spirit, and the spirits. With The Book of Guardian Angels the readers discover their belief in the good powers and with Spiritual Exercises for Freemasons , they discover their faith in their own power. In The Four Elements, Out-Of-Body Experiences and Diet-Yoga Stejnar describes how to gather spiritual strength, guard it, and how to correctly use your spiritual power in this world and the next. Astrology explains how to use the influence of the cosmic powers. In The Theban Calendar and in the book about Franz Bardon , you learn more about approaching gods and attendant spirits, and about the dangers associated with this. At the Portal to the Final Latern reveals a goal, which is how to become awoken and forever free yourself from your disagreeable urges, emotions and other troublesome spirits. Stejnar’s books are guides to the spiritual world. These are dreamlike worlds where it is easy to lose your way. Thus the last book: Dreaming Can Be Dangerous. This book brings the reader back to safe ground and returns them to verifiable reality. In 2021 the book Gnosis Tantra Kabbalah was published.
